The pansies are here!
This afternoon, I was at a big box hardware store buying some hardware - actually, a part to repair something.
I debated with myself about going out to the garden center. I, of course, lost and myself went out to the garden center.
It seems odd for pansies to be available. It is still way too hot. I think we reached 90 today.
But, then again, stuff is always in stores much earlier than would absolutely be necessary.
I did like to see the pansies. And there were Johnnies, too.
I thought this would be a good topic for my blog today, but, alas, I didn't have my camera with me. However....
Resourceful me, I used my cell phone camera to take the pictures!
And, in case you are wondering, no, I didn't buy any.

great cell phone shots - it's amazing how well small cameras work these days. i can't imagine planting anything yet, either, because of how hot and dry it is. have you all had any rain? we've barely had any in nearly two months!
Hi, Daricia - I wasn't sure how well the camera in the phone would work, but it was enough for the post! :) I haven't really had rain either. Everything is so dry and wilted and the grass is "crunchy." My garden sure could use a nice gentle soaking! Thanks for stopping by! :)
I am glad you did not buy any. I am simply not ready to cede summer to fall and Pansies are a sure sign of things to come.
