Thank you, Carol, for once again hosting Garden Bloggers Bloom Day. Be sure to head over to May Dreams Gardens to find other gardens to visit. I've got so much blooming right now that it won't all fit in one post! So, take a look at my recent posts (to the left) to see some of what isn't pictured today. In these pots are Hydrangea 'Endless Summer,' my Balloon Flowers, and some Coral Bells (Heuchera). I've actually got a couple of other Hydrangeas blooming, too: 'Mini Penny' and 'Light-O-Day.' Oh, and also some cuttings from neighbors' Hydrangeas have a flower or two.
Julie's White Garden is the most well-maintained and it is so peaceful and cool. Here's what she has blooming: bedding Begonia, Bacopa, Veronica alpina 'Alba,' Salvia 'Snow Hill,' a white Hydrangea, Calamint, White Fountain Gaura, and Feverfew. As you can see, she likes ferns. On her wish list is a Climbing Fern to go in the center of the lattice. I think that will be so amazing.
This is a newer planting and it needs a little adjusting, but some of it is just great! It includes: Buddleia 'Nanho Blue,' Salvia guaranitica 'Argentina Skies,' 'Hyperion' Daylily, 'Moonbeam' Coreopsis, Verbena bonariensis, Alyssum (reseeded), some Johnnie Jump-Ups, Salvia coccinea, which reseeded itself there, and a pink Yarrow.
And in this picture, in addition to the above plants, are: 'Rozanne' Geranium, Lambs Ear, Buddleia 'Nanho Blue,' soapwort, and Kirstin heading off to her college classes. (She accidentally got in the picture, but it was cute.)
Then there are these two beds on either side of the path. They are filled with: Cleome, Morning Glories, Salvia Coccinea that has reseeded itself, (the Cleome and Morning Glories have also reseeded themselves), 'Ballerina' Rose, a couple of Agastache, Buddleia 'Lochinch,' Catmint, Salvia guaranitica 'Black and Blue' and 'Argentina Skies,' Feverfew, Verbena bonariensis (reseeded), Salvia 'Snow Hill' and 'Blue Hill,' Salvia farinacea, 'Moonbeam' Coreopsis, soapwort, and 'Betty Prior' Rose. Oh, and reseeded Bachelors Buttons. And some Johnnies.
I have a number of roses either blooming or with plenty of buds. They include: Double Delight, Molineux, Betty Prior, Ballerina, The Fairy, Pink Gruss an Aachen, an orange rose, and the very fragrant one below, Lyda Rose. Thanks for stopping by my garden. Let me know how you enjoyed your visit and I do hope you'll come back again!
Have a beautiful day!

Anne, Kirstin and -M, Thanks for stopping by and enjoying my garden! :) I appreciate your comments! :)
Gorgeous blooms--and gardens! But darn you for making me want a climbing fern... lol... my wishlist was already so long! But it's a beauty--I don't blame Julie for wanting one of those. :)
I have tried many times to get butterfly bush to grow, but it just won't. And I know it grows here because I see it all over town. Yours is so big!
Ruth, I love those long shots of your garden. You have some beautiful perennial beds, there! How do you like Gruss an Aachen? I adore that rose - BUT it is finicky, I think. It smells fantastic, though.
Daricia, I really like Gruss an Aachen. I had it in containers and it did great. Then I put it in the ground and it hasn't done as well. I think I haven't kept the soil as fertile. Thanks for stopping by! :)
