Sedum sarmentosum...

Or at least that what I think it is. It was a "pass-along" plant so it didn't come with a plant tag and it was from someone who doesn't "know" plants even though she grows a few and she didn't know what it was, but her mother-in-law had grown it. Anyhow, now there is some in my garden.

I put some of it under a Buddleia where I also have spring bulbs. I figure the bulbs in bloom and then the sedum when it flowers - with yellow flowers - will add some color before the Buddleia fills out and blossoms.

When it was first given to me, I tucked it in beside an urn that needed a little ground-cover around it. You can see the urn in a previous post. This plant happens to be a tad invasive and it has helped itself over the wall and made itself quite charmingly at home.

Have a beautiful day!

Oops, sorry, I didn't see that yes, you already said it has yellow flowers. I have a lot of it too. This sedum is prolific, but I don't call it truly invasive because other plants grow up through it, and so it does not seem to choke out things like 'invasive' plants tend to do. I do get tired of it sometimes though.
